The below type of
Chamba masks symbolize a bush spirit. It has a rounded head with
a flattened open mouth and two large backward-sloping horns.
They are worn during funerals, circumcisions and inauguration
ceremonies. They serve as the primary mask used by this tribe
to also protect villages from evil spirits and to ward off sickness.
