This is a very unusual and extremely rare Dan helmet mask which was used in unkown ceremonies. Its creative components include a face mask applied over a cane basket to form a helmet mask. The top features a head handle whose betina is from both offerings and handling. It has fiber depicting hair woven into the cane basket. All inclusive the measurements on this unique piece totals 20" by 7" by 12".
