BOBO/BWA, face masks, Burkina Faso

Bobo-Bwa masks actually represent two seperate tribes, the BOBO and the BWA. These two tribes share similar artistic output and these face masks symbolize spirits and are worn during ceremonies associated with new crops, initiations and funerals.
