The Institute for the Preservation of Tribal Arts and Folkore

IPTAF is an educational and non-profit organization dedicated to the conservation and preservation of tribal, primal or indigenous culture. It is seeking to document and strengthen the identity of those cultures that are in danger of extinction. The emphasis of IPTAF is the research, collection and publishing of the fragile oral traditional elements that are rapidly disappearing each day; particularly dance, music, healing practices, agricultural and rituals and their expression through art.

In the future this part of the ETHNIX website will document the many anthropological expeditions of David Stiffler, owner and founder of IPTAF and the Ethnix Tribal and African Arts Gallery. Each expedition will be presented on this page page with written and visual orchestration complimented by exclusive audio recordings. The main intention for this area of our site is to help preserve the cultures of various indigenous tribes of the earth.

THIS AREA OF THE SITE IS UNDERGOING VAST EXPANSION

AND WILL LAUNCH LATER THIS YEAR.
